Aggie Women Tabbed Preseason Favorite In Big 12 Coaches Poll

Oct 12- The defending Big 12 Conference champion Texas A&M women’s basketball team was tabbed as the preseason favorite to win its second consecutive league title in the 2007-08 Big 12 Preseason Coaches Poll released Friday.Voted on by the league’s head coaches, the Aggies received seven of 12 first-place votes to edge out Oklahoma. A&M received a total of 117 points followed by OU (115), Baylor (97), Texas (86), Oklahoma State (66), Iowa State (64), Nebraska (56), Kansas State (54), Texas Tech (54), Kansas (43), Colorado (29) and Missouri (11).
