On an RVing group I asked a retired national park ranger about the silliest things tourist had ever asked. His top 2 responses:
1. While working in the Everglades I was asked if that Gator was real
or a rubber one & if it was real could I put my kid on it to take a
picture. SURE Gators love little kids.
3. At the Grand Canyon: If I hike down into the Canyon how do I get back to the top. I would love to have said follow the signs when you get to the bottom & they will lead you to the Elevator that will bring you back to the
top.
