This was very bad news for me because I have met Bob Colon and spoken with him on several occasions. He was a class act and loved to shoot the breeze with fans. Although he rarely covered women's basketball he did follow the Big 12 teams and truly appreciated all their accomplishments. Bob has been with the Oklahoman for such a long time, and I just can't believe that he is gone now. I just wanted to post this link because this guy was one incredible sports fan as well as one of Oklahoma's best writers:
