Hoopla! Session 9 will encompass games on February 10th. You can pick your lineup from all Big 12 players.
The 15th best Hoopla! player for session 9 is Lindsey Wilson with a 15.0 avg. So your starting team cannot exceed 75.0 (15.0 times 5) total Hoopla! points per average. And your reserve will need to have a 15.0 average or lower. For newcomers, refer to the rules in an earlier thread (http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000002.html) here on the Hoopla! Board. You can obtain up-to-date Hoopla! stats by looking for the "HPLA" statistical column in Interactive Stats (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/istats.html). List stats by "Season box score" for all players and all positions. Click the box for "All Big 12 Teams" and sort by "Hoopla! Points".
Please, if you haven't played yet, do so! Hoopla will have 13 different sessions, but you will not have to have played all 13 sessions to be an overall winner. Maybe we should say you need to play at least half of the sessions or some number less than 13. We can come up with that later.
Games for Session 9 are:
TAMU @BU
OU @OSU
CU @NU
KSU @ISU
UT @TTU
KU @MU

Thought I should mention that Cat is doubtful for the Tech v. Texas game. Even if she plays, she will probably be limited in time and quickness.
While I am on the subject of injuries, I would like to point out that Texas is not the only team that has suffered a rash of injuries this year! At the begining of the season you could look at the team and see only one black shiney heavy knee brace. Now there are four. Including Cat's ankle injury, we have injuries to two starters. One our best defensive and the other our most consistent player and best outside shooter. In addition we have had injuries to two reserves who scored in double figures.
When asked to comment on this, Marsha said that it was hard, but it doesn't do dwell on it because you can't play games with players you don't have, only with those you do have. She said that you just have to adjust and move on, and look on it as an opportunity for other players to step up and get better.
Even though they have worked extremely hard, neither Dionne or Natalie have been able to match the standard of play they attained early in the season (my comment, not Marsha's), but Joley and Casey have stepped up big time!
We love all our Lady Raiders and hope they are back on all cylinders by tournament time.

True, very true Elfdenmom! I've been waiting for my girl Dionne "Downtown" Brown to get her great shooting touch back, but it hasn't happened yet. She was really doing some great things before her injury (something like 75% FG).
Kat will play on Saturday, but she has a sprained ankle and a sprained knee. She practiced today and will see considerable playing time. Just don't expect her to be as explosive.
Guess who's back in my lineup! Look for her to shoot lights out against Texas!
Starters:

In the ISU game, Tracy Gahan was poked in the eye late in the first half. She did not return to the game. Is there a rule as to how many minutes an injured player can play and still allow a sub to be used?

I believe we are still using the 80 percent rule. If she plays 80 percent of the average minutes per game she usually plays, then her stats count. Tracy averaged 30.9 mpg - so if she played 24 minutes, her stats count. Tracy only played 12 minutes and since she went out of the game on account of an injury, then if you picked Gahan on your starting team - you will be forced to use your reserve.
