View Full Version : Hoopla! - Session 3
HoopScoop
01-19-2001, 02:57 AM
Session 3 will encompass games on January 20th and 21st. Once again, only 5 games will be played instead of 6. Iowa State and Oklahoma are going to the battle front on the East Coast to take on a couple of ACC foes. So please don't pick Welle or Gahan or Dales or Caufield, etc.
Since we cannot use ISU or OU players, the 15th best Hoopla! player going into Hoopla! Session 3 is Plenette Pierson with a 13.2 avg. So your starting team cannot exceed 66.0 (13.2 times 5) total Hoopla! points per average. And your reserve will need to have a 13.2 average or lower. For newcomers, refer to the rules in an earlier thread (http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000002.html) here on Hoopla! You can obtain up-to-date Hoopla! stats by looking for the "HPLA" statistical column in Interactive Stats (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/istats.html). List stats by "Season box score" for all players and all positions. Click the box for "All Big 12 Teams" and sort by "Hoopla! Points".
Please, if you haven't played yet, do so! Hoopla will have 13 different sessions, but you will not have to have played all 13 sessions to be an overall winner. Maybe we should say you need to play at least half of the sessions or some number less than 13. We can come up with that later.
Games for Session 3 are:
BU @ TAMU
KU @ CU
KSU @ MU
NU @ UT
OSU @ TTU

Thanks a bunch! This is a ton of fun for me. Now, if I could just quit that day job and focus on this site...... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Don't know if this helps anyone in making their lineup, but according to the KU-CU pregram release by Kansas....:
Johnson listed as probable for KU's matchup at CU
Senior forward Jaclyn Johnson is listed as probable for Saturday's game at Colorado this Saturday. Johnson is recovering from an ankle sprain which took place in the first few minutes of the second half of Wednesday's game at OSU. Johnson, the Jayhawks' top scorer (15.9 ppg) and rebounder (7. 5 rpg), did not participate in KU's Thursday evening's practice.

Just a reminder - you can post your Session 3 lineups up until 1PM Saturday CST. So if you are reading this Saturday morning, you still have time before the Baylor - A&M tipoff.

I get done at work at noon, and I'll be home hopefully in time to submit my picks. If I'm late, I'll just not pick any Baylor or A&M players.

I forgot to make my picks but can I just use my last weeks picks Hoopscoop? My picks don't have any Baylor or A&M players and their game just ended. My other exception would be Caton Hill since she can't play I want to replace her with Plenette.
Jia Perkins (14.8)
Amanda Lassister (21.6)
Plenette Pierson (13.2)
Amber Tarr (11.4)
Natalie Ritchie (.6)
Total: 61.2
Sub: Katrisa O'Neal 9.2
I truly forgot to make my picks and I please ask you to make my exception here. The time is 3:25.
No it's not! It's 3:27!
I figure you can always make late picks so long as the players on your team have all not yet started playing.

where's that icon for kicking self in head? Crockrom had 41 points and 22 rebounds.

I really wanted her on my team cuz TAMU is weak inside against opponents that have very good power forwards or posts like Crockrum. But her 27.3 avg kept me from getting her. Yep, wish I'd gotten her too.
