Hoopla! - Session 2

Thanks to all who played in Hoopla! Session 1. Session 2 will encompass games on January 17th. Only 5 games will be played instead of 6. Colorado and Baylor are sitting this one out, so please don't pick Lambert or Crockrum or Nightingale or Wirt, etc. This also means I need to add one more wrinkle to the game. When chosing the 15th best Hoopla! player (on average) using up-to-date statistics, that would normally be Nightingale at 15.1. But since we cannot use BU or CU players, they need to be thrown out. That now makes the 15th best player Evan Unrau at 13.5. So your starting team cannot exceed 67.5 (13.5 times 5) total Hoopla! points per average. And your reserve will need to have a 13.5 average or lower. For newcomers, refer to the rules in an earlier thread (http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000002.html) here on Hoopla! You can obtain up-to-date Hoopla! stats by looking for the "HPLA" statistical column in Interactive Stats (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/istats.html). List stats by "Season box score" for all players and all positions. Click the box for "All Big 12 Teams" and sort by "Hoopla! Points".

Please, if you haven't played yet, do so! Hoopla will have 13 different sessions, but you will not have to have played all 13 sessions to be an overall winner. Maybe we should say you need to play at least half of the sessions or some number less than 13. We can come up with that later.

Sorry if the rules seem a bit unclear. We are still trying to fish out the most fair way of doing this. I haven't really had any feedback on what positions all players should be. So I will just really back off of this. The rule will be the following: one pure guard (gotta have 1 point guard), one forward (can be guard/forward or forward/post), one post (can be pure post or forward/post). The other two players can be anything.

But, can we have two pure posts? How do people feel about that? I would say maybe we should exclude people from doing that - can't have two pure posts. But can have a post and a foward/post if you like, of course.

You can change your starting lineup as many times as you like up until the first game on Wednesday starts. According to my schedule all games start at 7pm CST. So you have until 7pm CST Wednesday to give me your picks.

If the position rule is still unclear please ask. I'm not the most concise writer in the world. Just want to make sure everyone understands and thinks its fair.
