did you see us beat your softball Sooners on ESPN yesterday? I was there with the kid - heck of a pitching duel! We finally managed to get a solid hit off of Keiter in he bottom of the ninth; otherwise she shut us down pretty nicely. Today's game looks to be just as tight.

BTW, Cat Osterman also pitched a 1-0, 1-hit shutout of A&M on WEDNESDAY night. In less than 48 hours, she pitched 16 innings of shutout ball, giving up all of 5 hits with only 4 runners getting as far as 2nd base. Man, I bet she's sore today. I keep thinking that long left arm is gonna fly off of her one of these days...the only reason she has 4 losses this season is lousy run support, but we seem to be getting hits when they count lately. With pitching this good, all it usually takes is one...

JH......you know, I kept looking all over the TV schedule for this danged game on Saturday and never could find it http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Then I realized about 3:30 yesterday that it was on THEN.....

I watched the gametracker at work until I saw it going into extra innings.......got home just in time to see the bottom of the 9th http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

With one out, I saw Kami walk one, bobble the hit that came back to her, and then the girl hit one out to the wall.....

Kami and Kat were neck and neck in their pitching game on Friday...I saw that Kat didn't pitch today. Unfortunately, when we put one of our freshmen on the mound, it's not pretty....so, Patti sticks with Kami. Kami's a great pitcher.....but she sure does need some help.
