Okay, well what's your favorite artist/music?

Okay, so maybe there are no Creed fans out there. I like my music a bit on the hard side - but not too hard. Creed fits the bill very nicely.

In Oklahoma City, we finally got a decent radio station that plays a lot of alternative music. Listened to a lot of new stuff from bands like Hoobastank, System of a Down, Weezer, and Staind that I like.

What type of music/artists does everyone else like to listen to?

Schooner, I can honestly say that I have never heard of the artists that you have mentioned. Although I enjoy several types of music, alternative is one type that I've never listened to, along with heavy metal. I might like it if I tried it. Country is my first choice. Jazz is nice, so is the old soul and R&B. Growing up in the 60s and 70s, I listened to a great deal of CCR, Chicago, Eagles, and Three Dog Night; now they are being played on the "oldies" stations. Can't say enough about Motown; Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross, etc...

Some of those old songs just bring back special memories. Every time I hear a particular one, my mind returns to times gone by. "Colour My World" everyones favorite slow dance song as a teenager at the time.

I hadn't heard of any of them either until this past month. I typically just listen to a local pop/top 40 type station. Thankfully, you can listen to this new radio station (alternative/heavy metal music) over the internet using software that will tell you the artist and title of song that is being played - else I wouldn't know the artists I list above.

Actually I don't like most jazz, but I will listen to just about anything from David Sanborn.
