Has anyone heard of this?
Go check out www.bookcrossings.com (http://www.bookcrossings.com) .
In a nutshell, it's like a giant, free book club, w/ a little bit
of mystery added as well. You register, register any books you want to share w/ the world, record the assigned ID number inside your book, and then 'Set it free' somewhere for another book lover to find.
Or, if there's a book you've been searching for, maybe another bookcrossings member has it, and will swap it out w/ you by mail.
The site explains this all in more detail. I think it's a really neat concept. I 'set free' an old book yesterday at La Hacienda Ranch (Mexican Restaurant) in Colleyville. I have a couple of more books I bought at 1/2 price books that I registered, and will release as soon as I get around to reading them.
So, if you like to read, check this out. And say jjsooner73 referred you. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
