The ISU football team plays Florida State in the Eddie Robinson Classic this Saturady at 7:30 PM Central. The game will be televised live by virtually all Fox Sports affiliates, including Chicago, Midwest, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest.

I'll be rooting. Always root for Big 12 versus out-of-conference foes.

I'll be rooting for 'em, mred......though, it'll be hard to watch WNBA with one eyeball and football with the other... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

I'm not a huge football fan, though I watch most of OU's games and try to go to one a year.....may try to find tickets to the ISU game when they come here to Norman.

But, what a great statement the Cyclones made in that game!

The south division may have the best couple of teams in the Big 12, but the north division, I believe, has now shown itself to be deeper than the south. It's OU, UT, and TAMU ain't half bad in the south. But the north has NU, CU, KSU, and ISU.

I'm surprised you didn't hear my sceam all the way from my home in Des Moines at 11:30 last night. It was almost 1:00 before I calmed myself down enough to get to sleep.

That game was NOT one of the seven that they had circled as "must" win, and the outcome might be better than a win for motivational purposes. I hope McCarney is having tee shirts printed right now that say "One more yard." http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif We'll see next Saturday how the loss affects them.

I can honestly say that I have never been prouder of a team. Five years ago, they pack it up at the end of the first quarter, but this team never quit. I'm never satisfied with a loss, but what a statement!

And.....did my ears deceive me, or was that NOISE that I heard from Iowa State football fans???? Maybe we are all "taking it to another level." http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

On TV, it was obvious that ISU fans were yelling louder when FSU tried to audible. It was a beautiful thing to hear... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
