Oklahoma-Nebraska VB on ESPNU at Noon Central today, 10/13/08

I should have been updating the viewing choices in a more timely fashion. LOTS of VB action on FOX and ESPN networks this year. I'll try to add more later.

I don't get that channel, but did see a great match yesterday between Colorado State and New Mexico on CBS Sports. New Mexico almost got the upset.

Information borrowed from AVCA http://www.avca.org/divisions/division-one-women/schedule/

NOTE that the first date is the date of the match, with the date of the airing listed afterwards. No doubt there are other matches and showings that are not listed, but it is a good place to start. I listed only the matches for the rest of this month.

From looking at the results so far this season, I'd like to get a look at Penn State. They haven't lost a game and have had some pretty dominating scores. Thanks for the info.

You're welcome, and you're right about Penn State. They are looking VERY tough.

Tonight's Kansas-Missouri match is being broadcast LIVE, so don't count on it being finished in the two hour time slot they have planned. It could go well past that if it goes to five games. (excuse me, SETS)

The Iowa State @ Nebraska game was moved to 3 so it wouldn't interfere with the Nebraska-Oklahoma football game, which is at 7. It is still on NET-1

I like that! I'll be able to go to some TV party to watch rather than having to split my attention while at the VB game.

Arizona - Arizona State today, Sunday, November 2 at 2:30PM on various FOX outlets. ESPNU has a couple of matches as well, though not featuring any top level teams.

GAMETRACKER for Baylor at Oklahoma 2PM today. http://www.cstv.com/media/livegame.html?DB_OEM_ID=10410&school=okla&sport=w-volley&interval=today

One rather big advantage that came out of the change from 30 to 25 point games is that there are a lot more matches telecast LIVE as opposed to delayed broadcast.

Last week was tough for the leaders. 2,3 and 4 all went down, Nebraska, Texas and California. That leaves Penn State pretty much up there by themselves at the top of the rankings.

If you like HS volleyball, and I'm sure you know that I do : STO (Sports Time Ohio) is broadcasting the Ohio Championships live today. In Division II, Padua just this moment beat favored Alter in four.

Three more divisions to follow. I am not going anywhere for a while!

Wow oh Wow! Now I know you're all just sitting there waiting for my updates. :) In a battle of 28-0 teams in Division I, Olmstead Falls just beat Cincinnati Ursuline 39-37 in the first game.

I've seen an uncountable number of volleyball matches in the past 35 years, but none that lasted like that one, and the quality of play was just outstanding.

**************** Olmstead Falls has an overpowering 25-12 in game four to win the match. (I can say GAME instead of SET, since this is High School!)
