HoopScoop, now brought to you in TECHNICOLOR.....

As you can obviously tell, I've added a new style to the forum in honor of last season's Big 12 regular season champion.

I'll be adding color styles for all Big 12 teams in the coming days.

If you are a registered member here at HoopScoop, you will have the ability to pick a style to be your permanent style. Obviously, if you're a KSU fan, you'll probably like this one :)

For now, I'll be changing the default style each day to allow everyone to see each team's colors over the next couple of weeks.

Please also provide a way to have a nice neutral color scheme. I just re-booted my computer becaue I thought I had somehow messed hoopscoop up and then spent a few minutes trying to find a way to change the color. The level of brightness of this color scheme is killing my eyes. I will have to refrain from looking at hoopscoop until I can tone down the intensity of the colors.

Yeah, good point. I got to my home computer and noticed how that shade of purple kind of jumps out at you. Maybe that's why KSU picked that shade? :)

Anyway, I brought it down a couple levels making it darker.

You can change back to the neutral style by going to the very bottom of the screen. You will see a box that you can select between "Kansas State" or "HoopScoop Forums vBulletin Style 3". That second one I just mentioned is the original more neutral selection.

You can also set your default skin style by clicking on "User CP" in the upper-left-hand corner, then click on "Edit Options". Go the the last thing you can change in the list that comes up called "Miscellaneous Options". Under that is the field "Forum Skin". Pick what you want your default to be.

Please ask if there are any more questions.

Well, it IS bright, but I may just keep it here to see all the different colors. (although I wouldn't mind if you skipped the oranges!!;) I think the colors are kinda cool.

I do have a question not color-related. Is is possible to move the Big 12 News to the left side of the screen? It makes the center part very narrow and long.

Odd... it was purple (hurting my eyes it was so dark) until I logged in when it became white again. Major adjustment problems... do not adjust your set!:rotflol:

I found that out, too. May leave it when it is in CU colors.
