I am going to try a different configuration that may help those who don't like all the RSS feeds from the universities being posted within the "Potpourii" page, but also helps those that would like to see everything on one page.

I've moved all RSS feeds to a different forum that will always show up on the right-hand side of the page under "Big 12 News". To read and post replies on those articles you just need to click on the the appropriate news item on your right.

And, now, the primary forum, "Potpourri" will only contain threads created by users. This should especially help once the season begins and there are many news releases (game recaps, etc.) from each university.

If you don't see the news item you are interested in to the right - in other words - it has timed off and been replaced by 10 more recent news items, then just do the following to see older news items:

1) Click on a current news item to the right. Then you will see a header box above the post that will show "
HoopScoop Forums > RSS feeds - News Articles". Just click on "RSS feeds - News Articles".

2) Or you can just click on "Forums" in the "Links" box to the left and that will show you the list of all forums on HoopScoop. Just click to enter "RSS feeds - News Articles"

That is a really nice way to do it, and since people can minimize the Big 12 News ticker, they are not required to read the RSS feeds. That will especially be helpful since schools frequently give a preliminary post-game article followed later by a full story. Those RSS feeds often cluttered the discussion!
