Well, it was a foregone conclusion that she would NOT play for Nebraska. I guess I'd just as soon see her in the PAC 10. It's certain that there will be a lot more TV opportunities there!
I hadn't looked for news of her recently, but just now it struck me that I hadn't been checking, and there it was, just four hours old.

"I went out and visited this past weekend and just fell in love with the place," she said. "They offered me a scholarship, and I said yes."
Cook, who repeatedly said she probably would leave home to attend college, said both parents are supportive of her decision. She will play for Andy Banachowski, who will be entering his 42nd season as head coach of the Bruins.
"They know Andy will take good care of me," she said. "I really wanted to go to UCLA, and now it's going to come true."
Cook added that she considered playing at Nebraska, but just couldn't see herself there.
"I kind of wanted to get away," she said. "This is my dad's thing here, and I want to go off and make my own name."
