Texas A&M, the conference's preseason favorite, received a No. 3 ranking in the 2008 ESPN.com/USA Softball Preseason Top 25 Poll, announced by the Amateur Softball Association. The Aggies are joined in the top 10 by Oklahoma (No. 5) and Baylor (No. 9).
