Marked read prematurely

Sometimes when I log in, I have the problem that I see forums that are "unread," but as soon as I enter one of the forums, they all change to "read." Is this a glitch in the forums, or do I need to adjust my browser?

Yes, I've seen this happen a couple of times. vBulletin allows me to change how threads are marked as read for individual users. I've changed the setting on this to another recommended option. Lets see if this helps.

Oops, now when I log in everything is marked "unread" even though almost all of them HAVE been read. Try again?

I chose another method that had to start from "ground zero". Thus, everything will start as having not been read. It will work itself out as you read threads from this point on.
