This is how I do it...........
find your picture, right click and choose properties......copy the address (URL) and paste it in your reply.......code is pasted address

You can also upload it to PhotoBucket or something like that. Then, use the URL it has in PhotoBucket.
I thought you could attach an image to your post, make the post, copy the image location, and then edit your post with that location encapulated by the img tags, but it's not working. I could have sworn I got that to work once...

I just typed out a long explanation and tried to use your picture as the example and it didn't work for me, either. I've done this a million times. I used to have an image from Photobucket as my sig on OUInsider. I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyone else have an idea?

I was able to do it with swok's pic, but it's not hosted at PhotoBucket.
The forum software is too smart for its own good and won't show an image with an address that doesn't end with .jpg, .gif, or another image extension. That's why the photobucket link won't work: it ends in the big "?t=1193182818" thing. This is the same reason my idea with attaching the picture and then using a link from that doesn't work.
The good news is that the "?t=..." portion is completely unnecessary. Delete it from the link, and you get this:

THANK YOU!!! There is always a simple answer but finding it can be SO frustrating!
If you aren't afraid of a little HTML, you can attach a picture to your post and then put the html code to show that picture in the post itself. It's a little more convoluted than using photobucket, but on the plus side you don't have to mess with photobucket.

This seems to work fine.
